I loved the dialogue in those movies. Lots of good writing. And the camera didn’t jump around. Just one camera and no high tech stuff with special effects. Ah, those were good movie days, weren’t they?

hey, susan:
nora and nick were two of my mom’s favorites, and i remember the quick back-and-forth of their oh-so-sophisticated comments and high-class style on the way to solving murders.
we did mom’s unveiling at the cemetery yesterday, about 4 months after she died — at 88+ in her sleep, a real blessing, but still i miss her sharply. (you might remember her smiling face in the wheelchair at doris’ holiday party until recently.)
so, thanks for the juicy story. it was a sweet trip into memory.
