You’re right to say women are mistreated in Arab countries, but the GOP were the one who went in “guns blazing” and gave them basic human rights. Nobody on the GOP side tried to “take away” birth control, but we do bristle at the thought of being “forced” to pay for someone else’s *recreational* birth control. One person’s rights shouldn’t come at the expense of another.

Oh, one other thing. Republicans passed women’s suffrage by a margin of 82% over a Democrat filibuster. Maybe that’s where “they find their women recruits”. The democrats treat women like a special interest group. -just sayin’

So many of us became adults with no self-estem at all and considered ourselves lucky (not smart or hard-working) if we achieved anything at all.
Do we need to revive Herstory classes? Or the anger of the ’60s and ’70s? Except for a few bright lights like you we seem to have become very tame.
